You have to come all the way to southern South Texas to find an Altamira Oriole. They love oranges and will peck a hole in the peel to get the juice. Then they come back later to snag the insects that are attracted by the juice! A lot of birds down here do that. Possums also steal oranges, so there are usually not many left for us.
