Zebra Finches

My family always had a budgerigar which lived in a cage but was allowed to fly around the house to explore and interact with the family.  That is why I chose a domestic setting for these zebra finches.  This painting was accepted into the Oil Painters of America 2018 National Show in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
