Comida

The little girl in this painting was inspired by a photo taken in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala.  It was the day before Day of the Dead and the girl was actually clutching a huge bouquet of flowers and did not look very happy with her burden.  I made some facial adjustments to improve her mood, put her in a rural environment instead of a busy market and gave her some chickens to feed.
