La Vie En Rose

This painting was partly inspired by one of Edward Hopper's last paintings---of two clownlike performers in white standing on a dark stage.   I also indulged myself by adding some sexy satin and two pink roses, which on most days I would say is my favorite flower.  (I do fluctuate a bit on favorite flowers, but roses are mostly at the top of the list.)  It was accepted into Salon International 2014 at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio.
